About

The PCA is at a critical turning point in 2023. Even with the departure of Memorial Presbyterian in St. Louis, the controversy over "Side B Christianity" is still an issue. Disagreement and confusion remain in the room and are not going anywhere.

The issue of "Side B" and homosexuality within the pastorate is much bigger than one church or our denomination. Society is demanding affirmation of sin, and much of the Church has been content to watch in ignorance, silence, and even defeat, as progressive theology has collaborated with culture to interpret God's Word.

We understand many are uncertain about how to proceed and may be confused about how to respond biblically to those who would choose a celibate homosexual identity.

In light of this, we are offering a symposium on June 14 to inform, clarify, and discuss as we seek to bring understanding about this issue, and about the need of codification within the Book of Church Order.

We do this with respect for our denominational leaders as we seek to work alongside the PCA General Assembly to bring biblical light and clarification to commissioners. Little time is allowed for discussion or education on the floor of G.A., so we hope to offer this as an accessible resource to equip elders to lead in informed and effective ways.

We cannot do this alone, and therefore ask you to consider partnering with us in 3 ways: contributing toward the cost of hosting the symposium, praying that God would be honored, and joining us in person on June.
